There is often a lot of confusion when identifying the different kangaroo species in Australia.   It becomes even more confusing when the Red Kangaroo is not always red and the Grey Kangaroo is usually brown.   So to help in dispelling some of this confusion we have put together some pictures of the more common species of kangaroo showing a range of body colours and distinguishing marks where possible.
